The Framework — TR2 Core

You have mastered
the what. Now face
the why.

TR2 is where the work becomes internal. The behaviours were TR1. The patterns beneath the behaviours — the context you operate from, the reality you are willing to see — that is TR2.

Level Two — Transformational

Mastering the why and the want TR1 changed what
you do. TR2 changes
what you see.

TR1 operated at the level of behaviour — the daily decisions, habits, and disciplines that form the transactional foundation of performance. Most people stop there, because TR1 produces visible results and visible results reduce the appetite for further examination.

TR2 addresses what TR1 cannot. The patterns beneath the behaviour. The context from which every decision is made. The reality you are constructing around yourself — accurately in some places, with remarkable distortion in others — and the consequences of the distortion for every result you produce.

"The person who has completed TR1 performs better. The person who has completed TR2 understands why they were performing badly in the first place — and that understanding is not comfortable."

TR2 is a 5-day intensive. The additional duration reflects what this level requires. Pattern recognition cannot be rushed. Understanding reality — genuinely, without the filter of preference — is the work of sustained, structured exposure to the evidence you have been arranging around a story.

TR1 is a prerequisite. TR2 builds on the transactional foundation established at level one. Entering TR2 without TR1 is the equivalent of understanding the why of a process you have not yet submitted to. The insight without the foundation produces analysis, not capability.
What TR2 Produces
The ability to see what is actually happening — not what you need to be happening.
Pattern recognition that operates before the pattern has fully closed — reading the signal early.
The ability to distinguish genuine progress from the convincing appearance of it.
A relationship with truth that does not require the truth to be convenient before you act on it.
The Four Principles

Transformational mastery The why and the want.
Four principles.
Each one confrontational.

The TR2 principles work at the level of context — the operating system beneath the behaviour. They do not produce quick wins. They produce the kind of shift that makes every quick win you have ever had look like a symptom of a pattern you have now finally located.

01
Principle One
Understand Reality

Reality is not what is happening. Reality is what you are willing to see about what is happening. Most people live inside a heavily edited version of their circumstances — one that protects their self-image, confirms their existing conclusions, and eliminates the evidence that would require them to change. Understanding reality means developing the specific discipline of removing the edit. Of looking at the data you have been disqualifying. Of seeing the relationship, the organisation, the result — as it is, not as you need it to be.

The person who cannot understand reality will keep applying better technique to a misdiagnosed problem and call the lack of results a mystery.

02
Principle Two
Read Patterns

A pattern is not an event. It is the same event, recurring, in conditions you have arranged to produce it. The person who has not developed pattern literacy experiences their life as a series of unrelated incidents — bad luck, difficult people, unfortunate timing. The person who can read patterns sees the common denominator in every incident: themselves. TR2 teaches pattern recognition not as introspection but as operational intelligence — the ability to read what is being produced and trace it backward to its source before it fully closes.

The person who cannot read patterns will address consequences indefinitely and never locate the mechanism producing them.

03
Principle Three
Recognise False Positives

A false positive is not a failure. It is a result that looks like success and is not. It is the relationship that feels profound and is performing a function. The business result that confirms the strategy when the strategy is wrong. The feedback that validates the direction when the direction needs to change. False positives are the most dangerous category of signal in human performance because they remove the discomfort that would otherwise trigger a correction. TR2 teaches the specific markers that distinguish genuine progress from the convincing simulation of it.

The person who cannot recognise false positives will invest their most significant resources in reinforcing the patterns that are most expensively wrong.

04
Principle Four
Truth Will Out

The final principle of TR2 is not a strategy. It is a law. The truth about a person's actual capability, the actual quality of their relationships, the actual condition of their organisation — surfaces eventually, regardless of the resources deployed to manage its appearance. TR2 teaches this not as a warning but as a working tool. The person who understands that truth operates on a timeline develops a different relationship to honesty — not as a virtue, but as the most efficient operational choice available. Locating the truth early is significantly cheaper than discovering it late.

The person who manages the appearance of truth rather than engaging with it pays for the gap at a time and in a form they do not choose.

The Shift

What changes
between TR1 and TR2.

Not a continuation of the same work at a higher intensity. A different category of work entirely.

Who TR2 Is For

TR1 complete. Ready for the harder work.Three kinds of person at this level.

01
The TR1 Graduate

You have completed TR1. The foundation is in place. The behaviours are embedded. And there is a growing awareness that the patterns beneath the behaviour have not yet been addressed — that some of what you are producing is coming from a place you have not yet been willing to look at directly.

02
The High Performer Repeating

You have produced significant results. The same pattern keeps reappearing in different contexts — a relationship dynamic, a leadership challenge, a recurring business problem. The surface-level interventions have worked temporarily. You are ready to locate the source rather than manage the symptom indefinitely.

03
The Leader at a Ceiling

Your technical capability is not in question. The ceiling you have encountered is contextual — the way you are reading the people around you, the organisation, the market. TR2 develops the pattern literacy and reality-understanding that unlocks the next level of leadership effectiveness. Not by changing what you do. By changing what you see.

The Investment

Five days. Four principles. The most expensive pattern
is the one you never
find.

TR2 is a 5-day intensive programme. The investment reflects the depth and duration of the work involved. The affiliate programme recognises coaches, practitioners, and organisations who bring participants to the framework.

TR1 is required before TR2. If you have not yet completed TR1, that is the correct starting point. The diagnostic will confirm your current position in the framework.

Where TR2 Sits

The context beneath
the behaviour.

"At TR1 you stopped lying to yourself about what you were doing. At TR2 you stop lying to yourself about why. That is a different kind of work. It is slower, less comfortable, and significantly more consequential."
